Why Hummingbird?

When I was deciding whether to leave the corporate career I'd spent decades building, hummingbirds started showing up everywhere. I've learned to pay attention when something keeps appearing, so I started reading.

What I found astonished me. The Rufous Hummingbird weighs less than a nickel, yet it flies roughly 4,000 miles each way between Alaska and Mexico, possibly the longest migration for its size of any bird on earth. It moves with precision and grace. It's drawn to the most vivid flowers, and as it feeds, it pollinates, carrying life from one bloom to the next.

It's small, and easy to underestimate if you've never watched closely. But it carries extraordinary strength, endurance, and color, and it takes up its space without apology.

Many of the women I work with know something about being underestimated, or about being taught to take up a little less room. What I want them to know is that what they need to go the distance has been there all along.

The only question is whether you'll choose to use it. That choice is yours, and it always has been.

I spent more than two decades in brand leadership across premium spirits, consumer goods, and hospitality, including roles at Brown-Forman and Santo Spirits. I've worked inside large established companies, inside other people's startups, and eventually inside my own business, where I learned what self-doubt and humility look like up close.

That range shapes how I coach. Whether you're weighing a promotion, a pivot, or a launch, I've likely been somewhere nearby. I know the difference between advice that sounds right and a move that actually works.

A little magic, by invitation

I also carry a deep interest in the metaphysical, including astrology, Human Design, and energy work. I'm a Level 2 Reiki practitioner and a retreat host. I enjoy working with tarot and oracle cards and have an extensive crystal library. For clients who are curious, these become one more lens on who you are and what's next. For those who aren't, they stay out of the room.

Most of my clients are mid-career or senior: leaders, founders, and professionals who've built something real and sense it's time to move. Some are earlier on, still working out what they want and which step comes first. What they share is a readiness to stop drifting and start choosing.
